3 days in Bruges: a free printable itinerary!

Bruges itinerary: download this free printable!

This March we enjoyed a long weekend in beautiful Brugge. While I finish trawling through my many photos and assemble a blog post or two, I’ve put together a free Bruges itinerary that should come in handy for future visitors to Belgique—either download the PDF to your phone or print it off.

A busy Bruges itinerary

Despite the fact that we absolutely loved Bruges it’s unlikely to be a city we visit over and over—there’s a lot of world out there. With that in mind I wanted to make sure we packed in as much as possible, so this is a full-on itinerary compiled by a serious planner!

Obviously you can change it as you want to, and please do bear in mind these recommendations are subject to changes in opening days/hours/price. But if you are planning a trip to Bruges (you might also like my city break planning tips) this hopefully serves as a guide as to how much you can pack into a short stay in this beautiful Belgian city, without wiping yourself out.

Enjoy your trip!

  1. Hi Becky,

Love your post – and it so makes us want to go back to Bruges. We just love this place and it’s so accessible for us in the middle of Kent. We’ve actually left early in the morning, driven via Le Shuttle, and been drinking hot chocolate in the Place de Bruges by 10:30 (And that’s with being mugged for the hour as we entered France!)

You are so right, it’s a beautiful, amazing city that’s a feast for the eyes – It’s going to keep the camera busy!

Have you managed to sneak up the road to Ghent? It’s about 30 miles, on the way to Brussels – It has a lot of the charm of Bruges. Worth investigating if you haven’t! I’ll be posting a Ghent gallery soon – right after I’ve completed my Bruges one.

    Anyway, great post

    Happy travels,

    Janis & Gary
